Millionaires on the move: where do the rich live now?
In 2025, the world finally figured out where rich people should live.
Spoiler: not London.
Why are millionaires choosing the UAE and the US?
The UAE is gaining nearly +10,000 millionaires. The formula "no taxes, plenty of sun" still works. The US is doing well too, apparently offering not just tax breaks but Netflix in the original language. Italy, meanwhile, lures people not with low rates but (most likely) with pasta and a view of Tuscany.
London is losing the rich: minus 16,500
The UK, on the other hand, confidently tops the anti-ranking: minus 16,500 millionaires. This isn't an outflow anymore, it's an every-man-for-himself evacuation. China (-7,800) and India (-3,500) are also among the top fugitives — probably also craving a bit of that Dubai sunshine and Swiss chocolate.
The world through millionaires' eyes: the map has changed
Bottom line: if millionaires are a flock of birds, then London, Delhi, and Beijing in 2025 have clearly become places they're fleeing. And Dubai has become the fattest, shiniest feeding trough of all.
